A short mystery play written by the noted Belgian playwright and Great War poet, inspired by a visit he paid to the Belgian trenches during Christmas week and written in the style of a Nativity Play: it depicts the Virgin and Child amongst ordinary soldiers in a miserable Western Front dug-out.
