A great collection of photographs , mainly taken in and around a bordello in Mexico , during the years 1900-1915 They are very reminiscent of the bordello photographs that Ernest J. Bellocq took in New Orleans during the twenties. Ava Vargas , the compiler of these photographs, masterfully restored the original glass plates , and also managed to get them reproduced on the good quality paper of this enjoyable book.
