During the summer at his grandparents' farm, Fritz stumbles across some unusual rabbits. He follows their footsteps to their home in the middle of a grassy hill. One of the rabbits sees Fritz peering in their window and informs him that the other rabbits are out looking for a new meeting place. Fritz offers his grandfather's shed if they let him become a member, which they do.
